Madison Beer
Madison Elle Beer, a Long Island, New York resident was a music enthusiast and performer since she was ten years old. In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of herself singing covers of popular songs. Within a short time, the pop icon Justin Bieber came across her version of Etta James' "At Last" and shared it with more than 25 million of his Twitter followers. The media attention that followed brought her to a record agreement with Island Records and a management agreement with Bieber's manager following year. Beer also appeared in the film Louder Than Words (starring David Duchovny) which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. The debut single she released"Melodies," a melismatic, poppy track "Melodies," also saw release late that year.Beer's vocals were first heard on other artists' songs, including Cody Simpson's "Valentine" as well as the 2015 club track "I Willn't Let You Walk Away" by Mako. She eventually issued her solo debut album"As She Pleases" in 2018. The single "Home with You" landed in the Top 30 in Norway, while the EP made it to the top of the Billboard 200. In the same year, Beer issued the non-album single "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
