The family was raised and born in Pennsylvania Molly began working professionally in the age of thirteen, at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater in a production called The Snow Queen. In the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods the actress won a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. In 2002, she performed the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway at the age of fifteen and was awarded an Drama League Award nomination. Molly was in the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof (2004). Molly attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club Membership and earned an B.A. At this point, that she made her movie debut in Disney's College Road Trip in the role of Wendy Greenhut. In the same time frame she debuted as Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly has been in Off-Broadway productions, such as End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. In addition, she participated in TV programs like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly played part of the 2007 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and also in the year the Westport Country Theater's staging of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly is most well-known for her role as Ali the teenage daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a film that was released in 2010.
