Dina was born in Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she changed her location into Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. She has two younger siblings and an older brother. At the age of 9 until 16, she began working in the entertainment business through modeling. Her career in acting began in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was studying Sanford Meisner's methods alongside Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock has received the same training as Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. Her first performance came from Beverly Hills 90210. This required her moving out into Los Angeles. Soon after, she scored the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she performed the majority of her own stunts, establishing herself as an athlete. Her agent for talent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able score a recurring role on Friends.
